Our home care begins with a convenient in-person consultation with our owner, Stephanie Henson, to determine how we can help meet an older loved one’s specific needs. She will explain how our in home care services work, employee clock-in and clock-out procedures, billing, and daily reporting on your loved one’s care through our on-line family portal. She will also review the state-required documents to ensure that you are fully knowledgeable and comfortable about the process, and take a quick tour of your loved one’s bedroom and bathroom to see how everything is set up.
We can often begin service within 2-3 days of our initial visit, if you need for us to do so! Our minimum visit is 4 hours and we can provide care 24/7. There is no additional cost to request a caregiver with dementia care training, however, we may need an extra day or two to begin service.
The length of the meeting is totally up to you! Stephanie will stay until all your questions are answered. If Angels at Home sounds like a good fit to provide services for elder care in Warner Robins or a nearby community, you can sign the Service Agreement, and then we can go ahead with the next step. But rest assured, there is no money due up front and no minimum commitment. You are free to cancel at any time without consequences.
Our Scheduling Supervisor, LaDovie Bowser, is in then informed of which days and hours you need a caregiver. We can staff any number of days per week, any time of day, from 4-24 hours per day. She will get to work finding the team member who will be your dedicated caregiver every week. If more than one caregiver is needed, we will always work to keep the size of your team as small as possible. We want you to be familiar and comfortable with everyone who comes in your home!
LaDovie will call you to introduce herself, confirm the start day and time of our services, and tell you the name of your caregiver.
One of our RNs will call you to schedule a visit or phone call to review the client’s medical history and to draw up the detailed plan for your care. There is no cost to you for this assessment.
Either LaDovie or our CNA Supervisor Barbara Barrett will come with your caregiver on the first day to make introductions and go over the duties for the day. We want to make sure we get started well!
